Newsletter October `25
"Job Action Project"
At the end of October, the number of participants in the project was fourteen young people, meaning there is still one place vacant.
We welcomed three new participants in October, and said goodbye to two participants. One participant left because they started a new job, and the other left for health reasons.
In October, additional benches were manufactured and delivered, including some for the Göllheim elementary school. For this, the tree trunks were peeled and sanded. In the next step, the finished benches were mounted onto the prepared supports.
A highlight for the participants was our open house day on October 9, 2025. The participants were very enthusiastic in their preparations, creating picture collages and posters. On the open house day, they then had the opportunity to present their work and showcase their skills. Many interesting conversations also took place with our guests.
As part of the social education support program, target agreements were reviewed and the support plan was updated. Individual job application training was also provided, and efforts were made to secure internships. Two participants took part in a three-day trial training program with the German Armed Forces.
One participant was placed in an integration course, which starts in November.
On October 30, 2025, we attended the Donnersberg Employment Summit in Rockenhausen. The participants took the opportunity to learn about the various professions and training opportunities.
Situation-specific individual consultations were conducted with participants, based on their needs and in cooperation with the youth welfare office, supervisors, the job center, the social welfare office, and other network partners.
The German language course was continued as planned.
